GEM ELIXIRS
Gem elixirs are liquid preparations made from gemstones.
They are prepared by placing the stones in water in a bowl of clear glass in sunlight for several hours and then the water that has been 'charged' by the gem stone is filtered off and preserved with alcohol.
| My meaning of the actual term
'gem elixir' covers the use of any type of material of mineral origin
and is not just confined to semi-precious or precious gemstones.
It also includes the use of elements extracted from minerals by man and also certain materials such as amber or petrified wood which could be classified as being of vegetable origin. The dosage used is ten drops twice a day for a month. If need be repeat the dosage more frequently, for example, five drops four times a day. Gem elixirs can be used undiluted or diluted with non-effervescent spring water and preserved with a little brandy. |
|
Whether the elixirs are used diluted or undiluted depends upon the individual. Usually it is found that a person benefits best from the undiluted elixir for the first month and later on they can be diluted down, say four drops to ten ml. However, this can be tested out for each individual.
The length of treatment can be several months and you may have to change the elixirs monthly. However, the person taking them usually makes quite considerable progress in a month.
After treatment for a negative aspect of an emotional problem say, treatment is then required for enhancing a positive aspect of that same or a different emotion. Gem elixirs can also help you to achieve your aims and purposes in life.
The electromagnetic vibration specific to the stone is transferred to the water during the preparation of the gem elixir. This electromagnetic vibration in the water then alters electromagnetic vibrations that have become out of alignment back to their proper values on ingestion into the human body.
Gem elixirs can be used in conjunction with other forms of treatment without interfering with that treatment. Any practitioner who does not use crystal therapy would find that gem elixirs are very useful.
Homeopathic practitioners would find gem elixirs of particular value as the treatments work well together and in fact complement one another.
For example, gem elixirs are useful after an acupuncture treatment to prevent the emotional reaction that caused the acupuncture imbalance in the first place from disturbing the acupuncture meridians again.
Usually two gem elixirs are used, one for the most overenergised meridian and one for the most underenergised meridian. Gem elixirs are also very useful for treating chakra imbalances. One or two gem elixirs, sometimes as many as three, would be needed.
Nutrition, manipulation and acupressure are used therapeutically to help restore well being. You can use muscle testing to help with evaluating the potential usefulness of gem elixirs.
Esoteric philosophy considers that humankind has
several different types of body:
1) The physical body
2) The etheric body - the scaffolding on which the physical body is constructed.
The etheric transmits energy to the physical body. There are seven chakras or energy centres in the etheric body plus the spleen chakra that obtains and circulates energy to the physical body.
The chakras are defined as biophysical resonators that activate the endocrine glands and maintain the health of the organ systems. The seven major spinal chakras are involved with various levels of consciousness.
3) The emotional body - this is where we experience
the joys and depressions of life. The ovoid shaped emotional body stands out
from the physical body from one foot to a foot and a half. There are seven chakras
associated with this body.
4) The mental body - this comprises the lower concrete mind, that is logic derived
from knowledge and the higher abstract mind, where intuitive faculties are exercised
and pure reason occurs. Seven chakras are associated with the mental body.
5) The Soul, consisting of three parts:
a) The Monad, which directs the life of the person.
b) The Atomic body, which is associated with the will to live.
c) The Buddhic body, which provides communication with universal intelligence.
Underactivity or overactivity of a chakra can occur. This means that there is
too little or too much electromagnetic energy within the chakra. Under or overactivity
of a chakra can lead to disease. It is equally true that under or overactive
chakras can be found in an apparently perfectly healthy person.
However, this person usually has negative emotions or thoughts that are associated with these chakra imbalances.
Very rarely are all of the major chakras over - or under - active. Seriously ill people often have all seven chakras plus the spleen chakra under active.
Usually two or three chakras are out of balance. Two may be underactive, two overactive or one under and the other over active.
How do chakras become unbalanced? By the wrong use of emotional energy, by the wrong use of thought patterns, by upbringing or by other factors.
Gem Elixirs provide an excellent means of sorting out chakra imbalances. Gem elixirs are specific to a particular chakra and its under or overactivity so you would choose two or three gem elixirs to balance the chakras and make them all normally active.
The descriptions of the uses for fifty gem elixirs are included below.
These descriptions should only be used as a partial guide for prescribing and are not a substitute for actual measurements of acupuncture meridian imbalances or chakra imbalances.
